Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Trader Start is a financial-markets information and analytical resource available at trader-start.com. The service also provides optional tools that, at the user's request, can connect to supported third-party trading infrastructure. Trader Start does not provide custody services and does not hold or control client funds. For privacy questions, data-access requests or deletion requests, contact traderstartcom@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Trader Start, we may process:

• Account information: name, email address, authentication provider, verification status, account identifiers and account timestamps.
• Google Sign-In information: when you choose Sign in with Google, Trader Start receives the basic identity information needed to authenticate you, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address and email-verification status. Trader Start does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or other Google product content.
• Workspace information: chart drawings, indicators and related workspace settings that you choose to synchronize while signed in.
• Technical and security information: information reasonably necessary to operate and protect the service, including request metadata, security/rate-limit signals and anti-abuse information.
• Broker connection information: if you choose to connect a supported cTrader account, Trader Start processes the authorization/session information and account data necessary to provide the broker-connected features you request and to transmit trading instructions that you initiate. Trader Start does not ask for or store your broker password, does not hold client funds and does not have withdrawal authority over your broker funds.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and authenticate accounts, verify email addresses, synchronize the workspace across signed-in devices, provide requested chart and broker-connected functionality, prevent abuse, maintain security, troubleshoot the service and communicate account-related information.

4. Google user data

Google user data obtained through Google Sign-In is used only to authenticate your Trader Start account, associate your account with the correct email identity and maintain the signed-in experience. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to access unrelated Google services. We do not request sensitive or restricted Google API scopes for Google Sign-In.

5. Service providers and sharing

Trader Start may use service providers that process limited information on our behalf to operate the service. These can include Cloudflare for hosting, security and infrastructure; Google for Google Sign-In; Resend for transactional account email; and supported broker/cTrader infrastructure when you explicitly connect a trading account. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or legal rights.

6. Cookies, local storage and analytics

Trader Start uses browser storage and similar technologies to remember interface preferences, workspace state and authentication-related information. Infrastructure and security providers may also use cookies or comparable technologies needed for security, authentication and service operation. We may use privacy-oriented site analytics to understand aggregate service usage and reliability.

7. Data retention and deletion

We retain account and workspace information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and meet applicable legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information by contacting traderstartcom@gmail.com. Where deletion is requested and no overriding legal or security reason requires retention, the relevant account data will be deleted or anonymized.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account data, including encrypted transport, restricted secrets and authentication controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to complain to a competent data-protection authority. Requests can be sent to traderstartcom@gmail.com.

10. International processing

Trader Start and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable, appropriate safeguards are used for international data transfers.

11. Children

Trader Start is intended for users who are legally able to use financial-market information and account services in their jurisdiction. The service is not directed to young children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page.
